What to Watch For

Myah Taylor dictating pace

Fresh off a career day against Texas A&M, Taylor will have to set the tone early in a hostile environment. While she has forced the issue defensively all season, Taylor has emerged into a true floor general and scorer. As the Wildcats will look to contain her early, expect Taylor to get off to a running start. Though the Bulldogs pride themselves on defense, Taylor’s offensive prowess should determine the outcome of today’s game.

The Bulldogs answer for Rhyne Howard

Standing at 6-foot-2, Howard is averaging 23.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. The Wildcat offense runs through her, as the Bulldogs must keep her from scoring north of 20 points. Look for Schaefer to throw multiple looks at Howard, as she can take advantage of mismatches and create her own shot. In addition to Taylor, Jordan Danberry and Xaria Wiggins should have an answer for Howard on the defensive end.
