What to Watch For

The Bulldogs answer for Khayla Pointer

Fresh off a 19-point outing against Florida, Pointer will look to dictate pace from opening tip. While the Bulldogs continue to flourish offensively, Vic Schaefer prioritizes defense above all. The Bulldogs boast a multitude of defensive weapons, as Schaefer is sure to throw the kitchen sink at Pointer. As guards Myah Taylor and Jordan Danberry have combined for 133 steals on the year, expect both to have an early impact defensively.

Jessika Carter vs Faustine Aifuwa

While both Carter and Aifuwa stand at 6-foot-5, the two had relatively similar numbers in their early meeting in Starkville. Carter posted a Double double that included 13 points and 11 boards. She added three steals along with three blocks. Aifuwa, who also posted a double-double, recorded 10 points and 12 boards. Look for Carter and the Bulldogs to go at her early, hopefully resulting in Aifuwa finding herself in foul trouble.

Prediction
