Mississippi State quarterback Tommy Stevens was selected by the New Orleans Saints with the 240th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Stevens, an Indianapolis native, joined the Bulldogs as a graduate transfer from Penn State. He threw for 1,155 yards and 11 touchdowns and rushed for 381 yards and four touchdowns in his only season with the Bulldogs.
At Penn State, the 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect was 24-for-41 passing for 304 yards and four touchdowns. He also rushed for 506 yards and eight touchdowns and caught 14 passes for 62 yards and two touchdowns in 23 career games played with the Nittany Lions.
