Why former Bulldog Johnathan Abram is due for a breakout NFL season

A hard-hitting tone-setter, former Bulldog safety Johnathan Abram looks to be what will get the Las Vegas Raiders’ defense back on track.

Abram posted 85 total tackles along with a pair of picks in 2020. He is a pure athlete with a nose for the ball. Abram has been a bright spot in the defensive backfield since the Raiders’ defense was subpar last year. Look for him to emerge as a leader in the secondary in 2021.

As the AFC West possesses some of the game’s best offensive talents, a formidable defense is essential. If the Raiders wish to make the playoffs, Abram will be one of the main reasons why. Expect him to break up and pick off more passes this season.

Hail State!
