MSU makes appearance on CBS' 60 Minutes

An MSU alum sports Mississippi State gear in an interview about the capture of notorious mobster James "Whitey" Bulger on CBS' 60 Minutes program.

Not sports related at all, but MSU fans may have noticed a little maroon and white showing up in a recent edition of 60 Minutes on CBS. The first third of the episode entitled "Crime and Punishment" discusses the capture of notorious Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger, who was discovered and arrested in Santa Monica, California in 2011.

The apartment where Bulger was living was managed by Josh Bond, an MSU alum who was interviewed by CBS about Bulger's capture.

You can see Bond and his MSU shirt at about the nine-minute mark of the video.
