As Mississippi State's 2013 football signing class comes to a close, we now know the destination of two commitments whose futures have been up in the air for some time now. Per Bulldawgs247, Ulric Jones and Trent Simpson of Oxford, Alabama will go the junior college route and greyshirt, respectively. It has been beleived for some time that Jones would be headed through the junior college ranks, while Simpson's future was up in the air over the last several weeks as well.

This move was expected, and that should round out all of the pre-NSD commitments. The only remaining question marks for the MSU class are Maryland CB Jahmere Irvin-Sills and Hutchinson C.C. DT Toby Johnson. Irvin-Sills all but had his spot bumped in MSU's class last week when Tolando Cleveland committed to MSU, but Mackensie Alexander's decision to go with Clemson could make room again for Irvin-Sills. The same could be said for Johnson, as State still has room following the Alexander twins decisions, as well as Tony Conner's decision to go with Ole Miss. We won't know more about Johnson's decision however until two weeks from now, as he is currently scheduled to sign on the 19th of February. Johnson is scheduled to visit MSU on February 15th. As for Irvin-Sills, we could know something as early as today, but it's unclear at this time if/when he may become part of the class.
