And just like that, Mississippi State plunges headfirst into the back half of its football schedule that promises to be 10x as tough as the first half was. Not only that, but State leads off that back half of the schedule with far and away its toughest game, a road test under the lights at Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Mississippi State takes on a task that no one, save LSU in 20111, has done in years, and that is to beat Alabama. Not only that, but State will face the task in Tuscaloosa, easily one of the most difficult places to play in college football. But there's a reason why these games are played on the field and not simply on paper, because anything can happen, and State hopes to prove that Saturday night in Tuscaloosa.

Can State's magical undefeated run continue? Will the Dogs offense be able to move the ball against the Tide D? All of those questions and more will be answered tonight. It's Mississippi State. It's Alabama. It's the battle of Highway 82. Remember guys and girls, nothing is impossible. LET'S GO STATE!
