FWtCT Radio Show - Recruiting Recap, 1.14.2013

For Whom the Cowbell Tolls' thecristilmethod and JLgrindin teamed up to talk the latest in Mississippi State Bulldogs football recruiting as National Signing Day nears.

After taking a month-long hiatus, the FWtCT Radio Show returned today, and just in time for the height of the college football recruiting season.

John Luke McCord (JLgrindin), who covers recruiting for us here at For Whom the Cowbell Tolls, came on the show last night to talk about the latest developments with Mississippi State's class of 2013. In the hour long special, we covered, among many things, the following:

  • Ashton Shumpert's recent commitment, and what he could become at MSU
  • Chris Jones' rise in the world of recruiting, and the type of player he could be for MSU
  • Donald Gray's recent commitment
  • What affect Deshea Townsend's hire has on MSU's class of 2013 and future classes
  • John Luke's favorites and sleepers in the class of commitments that MSU has so far
  • With MSU QB commit Cord Sandberg looking more like an MLB draft lock, who is State pursuing as a backup, and who is most likely to be the second QB added to this class?
  • A few more big names on MSU's radar to close out the class of 2013

Make sure you tune in and check out all the updates as National Signing Day is less than a month away. Feel like you didn't get enough from this show? No worries; we plan to put together several more shows leading up to February 6th.

As always, you can listen to the show in the audio player above, at this link (for mobile), and in the lineup of other outstanding shows on the Bulldog Sports Radio lineup.
