The Diamond Dawgs bats were hot today. MSU had 15 hits and 9 runs. Graveman pitched his 3rd consecutive Saturday complete game. More importantly Graveman got 6Ks and didn't walk a single Aggie. The down side was Graveman gave up 2 solo HRs...one in the 7th and one in the 9th. The Diamond Dogs turned 2 double plays today and now have 51 and five in the series so far. Hunter Rhenfro got another home run today and still has more HRs than the entire T A&M team. Dietz got his first homer of the year in this game with a 2 shot deep ball in the 4 run 2nd inning. Most importantly this game was never in jeopardy or close. The aggies went through 7 pitchers today in the loosing effort (their starter didn't even make it out of the 1st inning)...so not sure who they really want to pitch tomorrow as none of the pitchers really had success against our batters. Had this game been played at MSU the Diamond Dawgs would have really blown the Aggies Out. State fans need to get their brooms ready for tomorrow...as the Diamond Dawgs go for the sweep tomorrow. Game time for tomorrow is 1:00 pm CST.
