Starkville, MS -- It's not every day that you get the honor of having a Hall of Fame coach and 900 game winner in Humphrey Coliseum, but MSU will have that distinctive honor on Thursday night.  Former Indiana coach Bobby Knight, who now provides color analysis for ESPN college basketball broadcasts, will join Rece Davis in calling MSU's game at Humphrey Coliseum against the #3 Florida Gators.  With the legendary coach in town, MSU will take the opportunity to pay homage by letting Coach Knight throw out the ceremonial first chair prior to tipoff.

"I'm really ****ing excited to have been given such a gosh-**** tremendous honor," Coach Knight told MSU officials this afternoon as he extended both middle fingers simultaneously.  "I don't take it [this honor] lightly.  Now if you could just point me in the direction of someone whose face makes me less angry than yours, I would appreciate the hell out of it."

While we were not able to share anymore of the conversation with Coach Knight due to him setting fire to our transcript, it was easy to tell that he was humbled and honored to be given the chance to throw out the first chair before the Bulldogs and Gators do battle in the SEC tomorrow.
