Sunday may not have been a great day at Dudy Noble, but it was a fantastic one over at the MSU Softball Complex. After the softball Bulldogs took the Saturday game from #2/3 Alabama 4-2, they played another tight one with the Lady Tide Sunday as the game went late still tied at 0-0. In the top of the 10th, Alabama would put three runs on the board to appear to seal the game and series, but that was not the case.
As you probably know by now, the Lady Dogs mounted a big time rally in the bottom of the tenth, scoring four runs to pull off the unbelievable 4-3 win. With the bases still loaded and with no outs, freshman Katie Anne Bailey delivered the game winner:

Awesome! That's a fun celebration to watch, especially knowing that this team was feeling the joy that only comes after you've won a hard-fought series over a team you had not done so against in a decade. Also, if you watch closely enough I'm not so sure that coach Tyler Bratton wouldn't have scored on that play as well, he was hustling down the line so fast.
Kudos Lady Bulldogs, and Hail State!
