Mississippi State Bulldogs not Ranked in AP Poll
Just like they did in the Coaches' Poll, the Mississippi State Bulldogs have found themselves on the outside looking in at the AP poll as well.
Two SEC teams finished just ahead of Mississippi State as Missouri took the No. 24 spot, and Tennesee took the No. 25 spot.
Mississippi State finished at the top of the others receiving votes category. Alabama, at No. 3, finished as the only SEC team in the top-five.
Texas A&M, the only other team not ranked in the SEC West, finished right behind Mississippi State.
