Mississippi State Bulldogs Make-A-Wish by Allowing Campbell Dale to be a "Bulldog for a Day"
With awful events dominating the headlines Wednesday, here is great story out of Starkville.
Many Mississippi State fans have heard of Campbell Dale, the five-year old boy from Madison battling Rhabdomyosarcoma. On Tuesday, Campbell had a wish come true when he was made an honorary member of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
Campbell got to spend time in Dan Mullen's office, and he got to run out of the locker room as well. He also snuck in some batting practice and got to meet with other coaches and players from the basketball team.
As a dad of a five-year-old, knowing a child my son's age is having to fight this absolutely crushes me, but it can only lift spirits to see people working hard to make some of Campbell's dreams come true.
Best wishes, Campbell. You will be in my prayers tonight.
