Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers Open Thread

Last year, it was a No. 2 vs. No. 3 matchup. It is a little different this time, but much is still on the line for the meeting between Mississippi State and Auburn.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs return to the scene of recent heartache as they will face the Auburn Tigers on The Plains at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The last four contests between the Tigers and Bulldogs have been won by the home team with Mississippi State losing in tough fashion at Auburn while the Bulldogs have cruised to victory in Starkville.

in 2011, the Bulldogs had a shot at taking the game into overtime, but Chris Relf ended up being stopped short of the end zone on rushing attempt. The Bulldogs were a bit fortunate to be in position to tie the game after falling behind early in the contest.

In 2013, Mississippi State held a late lead, but the Tigers scored the game winning touchdown with seconds to play. Of course, it would turn out that Auburn would do a lot of crazy things that season.

Today, the Tigers start a new quarterback. How will it turn out for Mississippi State in 2015?
