Best Case Scenario: The season opener against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles was nothing more than vanilla play calling.  The Bulldogs are able to establish the run early and race out to a quick lead.  Mississippi State forces a big play while on defense and takes a 14 point lead early in the fourth quarter.  With using Leonard Fournette being less of an option because of the ticking clock and the Mississippi State lead, the game is put on the shoulders of Brandon Harris. Without much game experience, the crowd and intensity of the contest gets to him, and Mississippi State walks away 31-17 winners.

Worst Case Scenario: Mississippi State forces an early three and out against LSU to open the game, but the Bulldogs muff the punt.  LSU recovers and scores a touchdown.  The Bulldogs answer with a field goal.  LSU matches it to go up 10-3 after the first quarter.  With LSU playing from ahead, Fournette remains the focal point of the LSU attack, and he is able to keep moving chains, eating clock and keeping LSU ahead.  Mississippi State gets a chance to go for the win on a final drive, but they run out of time and lose 27-24.

Bold Prediction: Dak Prescott looks like Dak Prescott of 2014 and throws for over 250 and rushes for 75 yards accounting for four touchdowns.
