Dakota Hudson Voted Preseason All-American
Expected MSU ace Dakota Hudson was named an All-American by Perfect Game on Monday. Hudson was voted to the third team largely due to an excellent summer in the Cape Cod Baseball League. He fanned 41 batters and posted a 1.69 ERA on the way to being voted to the All-Leage team. If his MLB draft projections come to fruition -- four different outlets list him as a top-40 college prospect -- that would mean Hudson had a Chris Stratton type junior season for the Bulldogs. Hudson has all the tools, especially velocity and the ability to rack up the K's. MSU just needs him to put it all together and become a true SEC ace pitcher. The outlook of the 2016 season becomes a lot brighter if he is able to do so.
