Univer$ity of Mi$$i$$ippi Con$pira$$y?!?!?!

It just didn't add up.

Quickly, I put away my personal file of all things Ole Mi$$ recruiting and opened up my laptop. I opened a new tab next to the Internet Explorer tab I've dedicated solely to tweeting at recruits. It didn't take long to find exactly what I was looking for.

I believe I can say this without compromising anything, we were pretty much done until the Laremy Tunsil stuff bubbled up last summer

-Ross Bjork

So arrogant Ro$$. Arrogant to think you couldn't compromise anything with that statement, but I'm on to you.

The 2013 Ole Mi$$ recruiting cla$$ was historic - no one had seen such a meteoric rise in the recruiting world. But, the class was understandable. The nation's top recruit, Robert Kimdeechee, had an older brother who was already a member of the Ole Mi$$ football team. Ole Mi$$ was able to use the top recruit to sway others to Ole Mi$$ at recruiting camps.

However, Ole Mi$$ needed more than just one great recruiting class to stay relevant nationally. If they could only turn their out$tanding 2013 recruiting cla$$ into a great season or two, knock off Bama or another perennial power, then they could bring in another powerful recruiting cla$$ and keep the momentum going. That cla$$ would be the Ole Mi$$ 2016 recruiting cla$$.

Many thought that the timing of the NCAA's Letter of Allegations against Ole Mi$$ came at an awful time for their program. The LOA came the week before National Signing Day, and just before a huge recruiting weekend. It was the worst possible timing.

Or wa$ it?

Bjork is a Scandinavian name. And Scandinavians have excellent education systems. Safe to assume Ro$$ is one smart cookie.

But he ain't smarter then me.

Ro$$ was fully aware of the investigation into the football program at Ole Mi$$. He knew it didn't look good. In his own words he acknowledges that the investigation was basically over last summer. I posit that Ro$$ also knew that the penalties for the football team's infractions would adversely affect their recruiting for 2016.

And that's why Ro$$ Bjork himself leaked information about Laremy Tunsil's loaner cars to the NCAA.

Ro$$ knew that he needed to buy time for his football coaches to be able to recruit without rumors of allegations floating around the college football ether. He also knew that he'd have a 90 day window to be able to lay rumors to rest until the truth came out. The LOA didn't come at the worst possible time, it came at the best possible time. Had the LOA been sent to Ole Mi$$ during the season, the rumors might have derailed their season. The rumors might have also derailed their 2016 recruiting. Ro$$ was willing to sacrifice Tunsil in their early season games to save the grand scheme. Coming clean about benefits given to Tunsil stalled the NCAA enough to save the 2016 recruiting cla$$ for Ole Mi$$.

TLDR: OLE MI$$ CHEATED YALL

Non-satire TLDR: The timing of the NCAA's LOA to Ole Miss wasn't bad at all and would have been a lot worse if not for the situation involving Laremy Tunsil last summer.
