Three times this season. Three times. Dakota Hudson has been tabbed by the SEC as the pitcher of the week for the third time this year. With his second cnsecutive complete game shutout appearance, Hudson improved his record to 9-3 and helped Mississippi State win the SEC outright. Ross Mitchell (2014) and Alan Johnson (2003) are the only other pitchers from Mississippi State to receive the honor three times in a season. With Hudson's 101 strikeouts, he's the first to reach the century mark since Jacob Lindgren's All-American season in 2014.
