Louisiana Tech's Greg Goff Expected to be Alabama's Coach, Ending John Cohen Rumor

Louisiana Tech head coach Greg Goff is expected to be named the next head coach at Alabama, which kills rumors about John Cohen joining the Tide.

Although unlikely to happen, speculation and rumors have been swirling about the possibility of Mississippi State head baseball coach John Cohen returning to his hometown of Tuscaloosa to be the head coach at Alabama. Well, those rumors can be put to rest, as Louisiana Tech's Greg Goff is expected to be hired at Alabama.

Although Cohen won't be departing Starkville, the coaching buzz has been circling around the Mississippi State program with assistants Nick Mingione and Wes Johnson leaving and Gary Henderson and Will Coggin replacing them. But, there is still a job open in Starkville, camp coordinator, which was formerly held by Will Coggin.
