Early in their opening contest, the Mississippi State Bulldogs found themselves trailing Southeast Missouri State, and an opening loss seemed possible. Now, the Bulldogs are one win away from advancing to the regional championship.
Standing in their way will be Cal State Fullerton. The Titans advanced after completing their rain delayed contest Saturday morning, picking up a 1-0 win over Louisiana Tech.
The winner moves on to the championship game. The loser is faced with the prospect of winning three consecutive games to advance.
The loser will face Louisiana Tech in an elimination contest, and tonight's winner will face the winner of that contest.
Mississippi State has announced their lineup for tonight's contest.
