Gameday Open Thread: Mississippi State @ Kentucky

The Bulldogs travel to Lexington today to take on the Wildcats of Kentucky.

NCAA Football: Kentucky at Auburn John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening, Bulldog fans! The Dawgs are back on the road! Maybe being on the road is just going to be better for us this year. That’s what I’m praying anyways.

If this is your first Saturday of Southeastern Conference football with us, this is where we discuss all things on GAME DAY.

As you know, your Mississippi St. Bulldogs are traveling to Lexington, Kentucky, to take on the Kentucky Wildcats. The Bulldogs are looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks, 21-14. Kentucky looks to do the same after losing in overtime to the Ole Miss Rebels last week, 42-41.

If the Bulldogs can shut down the running game, it looks as if MSU can pull this one out. Terry Wilson and company look to run the ball down your throat. Quarterback K.J. Costello is coming off a three-interception game. The Bulldogs cannot continue to turn the ball over or they will continue to lose games they shouldn’t. Let’s hope this doesn’t happen today.

Today’s game will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT.

The game will be played at Kroger Field in Lexington, Kentucky.
