What should we expect from Kylin Hill this season?

New, comments

Set for a career year, Hill has emerged as the Bulldogs primary offensive weapon.

While it is no mistakes that expectations will be at their highest, there is no reason to doubt Hill’s capability of exceeding them.

In today’s game, backs must posses a combination of power and agility. Hill is a dominant power first runner with vision. At 5-foot-11, 215 pounds, he can get between the tackles, shed off defenders, and show a burst of speed once in the open field.

Under new headman Mike Leach, Hill will be utilized in a multitude of schemes. Though power is Hill’s primary strength, he is a formidable pass catcher. This speaks to Hill’s all-around game that Leach is sure to take advantage of come Fall.

Hill accumulated a career high 1350 yards on the ground and hauled in 18 receptions for 180 yards. Expect his number to increase, most receptions. Leach is offense first, as his mentality will bring out the best in Hill.

Hail State!
