National Signing Day 2013: Brandon Wells signs with MSU

The Bouge Chitto standout has faxed in his LOI to play for MSU.

You can add 3-star Bogue Chitto athlete Brandon Wells to the list of recruits who have signed on to play at Mississippi State today.

Wells becomes the fifth Bulldog recruit for the class of 2013 to sign, the school announced today through a statement on coach Dan Mullen's twitter account.

The Clarion-Ledger ranked him in their first 25 prospects on the postseason Top 40 list, and second team all-state defense from all classifications ... Chosen by the MHSAA to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game as a safety, and the Mississippi Association of Coaches named him first team all-state Class 1A as an athlete ... Brandon Wells was the first commitment of the 2013 class for MSU and he never wavered on that pledge. He played multiple positions in high school, but has the looks of a safety at the next level. He will also likely take a redshirt.
