MSU vs. Alabama Historical: Undefeated Dogs bowl over Tide in 1940

1940 was MSU's only undefeated season in school history. Some rare video footage shows us highlights from the MSU vs. Alabama game that year; a game that Mississippi State would win, 13-0.

A few notes on the game:

Alabama never attempts a field goal. They go for it on 4th down 5 times and get stopped each time.
Mississippi State also won the 1941 matchup, 14-0.
This game was in the middle of an 11-year stretch of the annual battle being held in Tuscaloosa. It would not return to Starkville until 1948.
