MSU fans heard all week last week that State would have a secret visitor this past weekend, and finally this morning, we know who that visitor was.
Cowbell Clang's John Farley reports that 4-star wide receiver and current Oklahoma State commit Fred Ross from Tyler, Texas was the mystery visitor taking in Starkville this past weekend.

The 6'2" 185 lb Ross has been committed to the Cowboys since early 2012, but decided to visit MSU this past weekend. Ross kept the visit quiet as to not upset the OSU coaching staff.
Ross would undoubtedly be a huge addition to the MSU class of 2013 should he decide to change his commitment following the visit. The wide out holds offers from Oklahoma State, Baylor, Missouri, and West Virginia, among others. He is currently ranked as the 43rd best wide receiver prospect on the 247 Sports network, and is rated as the 44th best prospect in the state of Texas for 2013.
As Ross is from the same area as early MSU enrollee Jeremey Chappelle, it seems that we can thank Mr. Chappelle at least in part for getting Ross to take a visit to MSU.
