MSU Football Recruiting - Final weekend official visitors list and junior day visitors list

Who will be on campus this weekend and where do they stand in their recruitment? Also a few 2014 names expected to be at MSU's first junior day for the 2014 class.

Spruce Derden-US PRESSWIRE

There will only be three guys in town this weekend. The last weekend is usually not a big one and there still might be some more guys show up that could be in line to walk on or looking for a late scholarship offer. We will have to wait and see. The small 2013 visit weekend is also by design. MSU will be hosting their first junior day this weekend and will be hosting a few of their top 2014 targets. So it will be hard to give a lot of attention to the 2013 class. Anywho, here are the 2013 prospects expected in this weekend.

Weekend Visitors List (as always, subject to change)

Tony Conner - He is scheduled to be in this weekend. You can thank Deshea Townsend for that. He has gotten MSU back in the door with Tony. If he indeed shows up this weekend, Townsend deserves a pat on the back. I still think this one comes down to Ole Miss and Alabama, however.

Donald Gray - He committed to MSU in early January and now that he is committed to an SEC school and the questions about his grades have quieted some, people are beginning to talk more of his talents. He will get his first shot on offense at WR, but I feel like he could be an impact guy down the road on defense. It is also always good to get a foot in the door of the Memphis area.

Tolando Cleveland - Cleveland is the most recent commitment to MSU. Soon after he flipped to MSU, Georgia Tech was trying to get back on him quickly. It seems GT had begun to take him for granted because of the length of his commitment and him being a local commit in the Atlanta area. He felt the love from MSU and that is why he turned away GT as they came calling late.

In addition to the three visiting recruits for the 2013 class, MSU will also see talented junior prospects hit campus tomorrow to showcase their talents in MSU's junior day. State is expecting to have a large number of prospects their tomorrow. Some 2014 names expected to visit MSU's first junior day for 2014 prospects this weekend are:

Kendrick Doss - QB/ATH, Florence, AL

TJ Posey - LB, Gadsen City, AL

Jesse Jackson - WR/TE Petal, MS

Aeris Williams - RB, West Point, MS

Ladarius Gallion - DT, West Point, MS

Jamoral Graham - ATH, Decatur,MS

Alfred Dickens - LB, Olive Branch, MS

Those are all some pretty big time names for the 2014 class that MSU is getting on campus very early on in the process.
