Mississippi State National Signing Day 2014: Dontavian Lee signs with MSU

Dontavian Lee has his NLI in this morning with MSU.

Forrest County AHS has established itself as one of the top programs in Mississippi over the past few years, and players such as Dontavian Lee have helped make that possible.

Today, Lee sent in his Letter of Intent, making himself the newest member of the Mississippi State family.

A player whose ranking has fluctuated among the scouting services, Lee has the size to play at multiple positions should he need to at Mississippi State, but he looks like he should fall into the running back group with the Bulldogs.

Bully HeadFWtCTrecruitings's Quick Thoughts

Lee should develop into a solid contributor and starter for the Mississippi State Bulldogs during his time in Starkville.  Standing at 6'0", 200 pounds, one would expect Lee to clock faster than a 4.6 40.  Should he find a way to increase his speed, he could be a significant threat for Mississippi State opponents.
