For former Mississippi State running back Josh Robinson, the grind of the NFL Combine has come to a close.
Bench Press: 21 Reps (RB lead: Joey Isoefa, Hawaii, 30) Robinson's performance in the bench press did not come near the efforts of the 6 foot, 247 pound running back from Hawaii, but it was not the softest performance of the group either. His efforts ranked 13th best in the running back group, one rep behind Indiana's Tevin Coleman, LSU's Terrence Magee, and Alabama's T.J. Yeldon. He finished one rep ahead of Florida's Matt Jones.
40 Yard Dash: 4.70 (RB lead: Jeremy Langford, Michigan State, 4.42) Mississippi State fans know that Robinson does not have top-shelf speed, but there is no sugarcoating that a 4.70 40-time is not impressive.
Vertical Jump: 32 inches (RB lead: Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska, 42.5 inches ) Robinson did not come near the top of the group, instead, he was near the bottom of the group. Only four running backs had a lower jump than Robinson with LSU's Kenny Hilliard only making it 27 inches.
Broad Jump: 9 feet 5 inches (RB lead: Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska, 10 feet 10 inches) Again, Robinson saw quite a gap between his performance and that of the event leader. Only four players fell below Robinson with Missouri's Marcus Murphy only jumping 9 feet and 1 inch.
Three Cone Drill: N/A (RB lead: Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska, 6.79)
Twenty Yard Shuttle: N/A (RB lead: Ameer Abdullah, Nebraska, 3.95)
Sixty Yard Shuttle: N/A (RB lead: Melvin Gordon, Wisconsin, 11.00)
