Well after a tough outing last night, the Diamond Dawgs face the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts University at Dudy Noble Field tonight. Oral Roberts lost their game last night against Jacksonville St...with a similar late inning melt down of their own. RHP Cale Tims will open on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Their best hitter is Matt Whatley, who is batting .368 with 14 RBIs, 2 HRs, 3 doubles, drawn 10 walks and has an OBP .471 in their 3 hole. Their home run threat is Nick Roark who has 4 homers and who normally bats in their 2 hole. For the Diamond Dawgs, Keegan James gets the start on the mound and lord knows who will back him up tonight. Tonight's batting order is Robson, Kruger, Lowe, Collins, Rooker, Reid H, Gridley, Stoval, and Alexander. Really not sure why Cody Brown isn't getting a start tonight as he is seeing the ball much better than Alexander...but bet we will see him in the later innings tonight. Tonight's big question is how will our bullpen hold up and fare when called upon. It would be really nice to see James make a similar stride as Pilkington, so we at least have the two of them to become a mid week dependable combo...and then use Breaux to close.
