Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

Hey, sometimes games just don't go your way. Last week was (again) one of those for MSU as it took (again) a heartbreaking loss at the hands of Auburn, 24-20. This week is a new week, however, and State, Dan Mullen, and his players are focused on the Troy Trojans.

Troy comes into today's game again flexing plenty of offensive firepower. The Trojans are averaging nearly 48 points per game, so it will be up to MSU's defense to stop them to give the offense a chance. On offense for MSU, it looks like it will again be Dak Prescott going under center, as Tyler Russell's status remains in the air. Prescott played considerably well last week in his first SEC start, on the road in a hostile environment. The sophomore registered 213 passing yards and 133 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground. If MSU is to again find some success on offense, it will need Prescott's legs and arm to strike balance. This should be a fun (and probably wet) game.

Before kickoff today, make sure you get caught up on today's game with our Big Preview, as well all of our other MSU vs. Troy coverage in our storystream.

Broadcast Schedule:

Game Time: 6:30 P.M. CT
Location: Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, Mississippi
TV: Fox Sports Net [DirecTV: 646 | UVerse: ??? | Comcast: 401]
Announcers: Bob Rathbun, Tim Couch, Elizabeth Moreau

For those of you who can't make the journey to Starkville this weekend, the good news is that the viewing options are again pretty solid between options on television and streaming.

Live Online Stream: As was the case last week, for those of you who use the WatchESPN site either on your tablet, computer, or gaming system, the game will be available on there as well [MSU vs. Troy Game]. Again if you have not really used WatchESPN before, you have to have a specific internet service provider to use the channel. If you plan to use this avenue of watching, make sure you log on early to make sure your ISP is included in the list of those in cahoots with WatchESPN. PLEASE NOTE: the MSU website does make note that the game is subject to blackout on WatchESPN. I couldn't find a coverage map, but I'm willing to bet that if you live in the south and get the game on TV, you won't get it on WatchESPN. It sucks, but that's generally how it works for games televised on non-ESPN owned networks.

Replay: According to my DirecTV schedule, the first replay of the MSU-Troy game is on Fox Sports South Wednesday, 9/25, at 6 p.m.

Radio: As always, here are your radio options for today's game.
