The weekend can be a tough time to keep up with everything going on in the world of Mississippi State, so here a few links from the weekend and Monday that have flown under your radar.
- The high expectations keep coming in for the Bulldogs for the 2014 football season. Knox Bardeen of Fox Sports South figures Mississippi State will finish the year 10-2.
- The Mississippi High School Activities Association has decided that the state championship football games will move out of Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson. Instead, the contest will now rotate between Davis-Wade Stadium and Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium. M.M. Roberts Stadium will rotate hosting the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game ever year with the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama.
- Ally McDonald made a strong defense of her North & South Amateur Title at Pinehurst No. 8 last weekend, reaching the semifinals of the match play portion of the event.
