Former Mississippi State Coach Rick Ray Set to Become Coach at Southeast Missouri State
Former Mississippi State head coach Rick Ray did not go without a team for long after being let go as the head coach of the Bulldogs. Ray spent three seasons at Mississippi State before being replaced by Ben Howland in March in Starkville. In his time in Starkville, Ray compiled a 37-60 record while attempting to rebuild a Mississippi State program riddled with injuries, dismissals and many more issues.
