It appears we are now short 2 linemen

The JCL had an article today where it was announced that 1 of our offensive linemen and one of our defensive lineman are no longer with the program. The offensive guy played in 6 games and the defensive guy played in 9 games. While this at first might sound like bad news, I am not so sure it really is. It appears to me that both guys fell on the depth chart to younger guys and with incoming guys, they didn't want to slide further. As it appears that a few of our new guys are just that good. While we can use all the help we can get on both lines, we don't really need guys on the team who are affraid of competition and earning their spot. While I wish them well in JUCO ball and future success, I am not that sad to see em leave. So we might actually have 2 freshmen linemen play this season instead of redshirt.
