Mullen not heading to Miami
According the ESPN Bottom Line ticker. Dan Mullen is out of contention for the Miami job. Hopefully in the coming days the same can be said about the Florida job...
Some of the speculation about the Florida job includes Jim Harbaugh, Bo Pelini, Jon Gruden (probably not going to happen), Bobby Petrino. In my opinion Harbaugh might be the lead candidate for job whose name is not Mullen. He runs a tight ship and would certainly bring some discipline to a Florida team that badly needs it. (lol Cam Newton, Chris Rainey, et al.) I will be crossing my fingers that at least one of those aforementioned names get the job.
If Mullen does leave, then I feel that it would decimate our recruiting class, and set back our team another few years. It's been mentioned here before. Mullen has a chance to make himself into a legend by building a respectable program that has long been a laughing stock of the SEC. I want to stay proud of being a Bulldog outside of the state. I do not want to go back to being the forgotten team.
Hail State!

i think/hope that Mullen
wants to build a legacy in Starkville. I know that a lot of the things he says to the press is coach-speak, but to have someone like him who actually cares about the school and program would be excellent.

I’m pretty sure he’s gonna take the Florida job or at least wants to be approached about the Florida job, otherwise his “denials” would be much more concrete and not full of cliches and not-really-answers.
If we don't get our sauce, we ain't watching the game!
