MSU scored 1 goal in the first half and 2 goals in the second to earn the 3-0 win. Payton Gruenewald, Carly Mauldin, and McKenna de Graaf scored the goals for the Bulldogs. 3 goalies all saw action for the Bulldogs as they combined for the shutout of Memphis. A total of 23 players saw action for coach Aaron Gordon’s squad.
The Bulldogs will travel to Iowa State on Saturday for a final exhibition before the regular season kicks off. Mississippi State is almost finished with a brand new Soccer Clubhouse for the team.
The Bulldogs have started on the right foot. And expect this to be a big boost as they were able to give players more experience and also get the win with ease.
