Brandon McBride is a very fast individual. He’s done a lot for Mississippi State in his career and right now he’s currently in the Summer Olympics in Rio representing Canada.
So far, it seems that he’s doing a pretty good job in the competition. McBride is the Canadian national champion in the 800m run and it looks like he’s interested in winning big in Rio as well. McBride easily claimed victory in his heat of the 800m prelim today and is advancing on to the semis.

McBride isn’t the only Bulldog in Rio. Marta Freitas is also there and she’s representing Portugal in the Olympic games. Freitas will run her prelims tonight at 6:30 CT.
Good luck to both McBride and Freitas in your competitions!
