The Devil's Brigade and the Flash

The Flash returned to celebrate the Vietnam Veteran's Day with Top and the Devil's Brigade at a dive bar in Tupelo. Colorful stories were told and some may have been true. The missing money tale was not only great for my ears but truly pleasant to my eyes. it was great to see the Flash have fun again after the hard times he has weathered recently. He was almost back to his old self. Bubba Earl was most disappointed that Flash showed up and he wasn't there to see him. He was really sad when I told him about the missing money. Bubba Earl said that HFE told animated stories better than any female ever. I guess I'll have to take Bubba with me next time we gather to celebrate.

Speaking of, Bubba Earl helped me to remember he was to take the Mrs down to Dawgpatch for the weekend to watch baseball. He says that was a complete waste of time. The only good thing about the weekend was the amount of whiskey consumed in the outfield sitting area. He broke out some homemade whiskey we made last summer. Rusty Radiator 2020 was truly pure gold or gasoline according to how you look at it. Those college kids today just can't keep up. Bubba said after a couple of drinks the center fielder lost the ball in the sun. We think he lost it in the bottom of the bottle but whatever.

On a more serious note, the Flash asked me to pass a message on. I'll join him and say, Welcome home Top, welcome home.
