Kendall Graveman is quickly turning into one of the better pitchers for the Oakland Athletics and is proving his worth at baseball's highest level of competition. Last night he had his first complete game victory of his career, his second complete game overall.

In his outing last night, Graveman hurled 71 strikes out of 102 total pitches. He struck out 4 batters while only allowing a single walk and he held the Rays to 3 earned runs.

Graveman is now 7-6 on the year and the Athletics are 44-54 for the season. The Athletics will finish their four game series with the Rays this afternoon before they head to Arlington to take on the Rangers tomorrow.
