Tragedy has struck again and Mississippi State has lost another former player this offseason. C.J. Sirmones was murdered last night in Tennessee.
BREAKING: Former MSU tight end CJ Sirmones was killed last night according to Lawrence County (TN) Sheriff's Office. Ruled a homicide.

According to a report that has been released since then, a suspect stated that he shot and took Sirmones' life after an argument. The bond for Yancey Williams has been set at $400,000 and he has been arrested on charges of second degree murder.

Sirmones is a Bulldog legend, playing for Mississippi State under Jackie Sherrill back in the late 1990's and will forever be remembered for being wide open in the Egg Bowl.
