Mississippi State Athletics 2014 in Review: Counting Down our Top 25 Posts, Part 2

One of the best things about the close of a year is looking a back at what people did, read and watched during the year. We're looking back at the top-25 posts, plus a few honorable mentions, based on page views on For Whom The Cowbell Tolls. Nos. 15-6 covers being selected to host College GameDay, Geoff Collins leaving, baseball and some wacky videos.

As you may have noticed with some of our other posts on the blog, we are working through several year in review type posts to look back at all of the different aspects about Mississippi State athletics we covered here on the blog.

This series, our top-25 posts of the year, is based strictly on the number of pageviews a post had this since January 1. Here we go with No. 15-6. If you missed Nos. 25-16, here you go.

No. 15: The potential bowl picture was a bit of a mess the morning after Mississippi State lost to Ole Miss.

No. 14: After Geoff Collins surprised us by going to Florida, we took a look at five potential replacements.

No. 13: Yep, this happened.  Lou Holtz dancing with a cowbell.

No. 12: Elijah Staley celebrating a touchdown on the sideline in his own way.

No. 11: Did Dan Mullen fool LSU?

No. 10: Day Two of the SEC baseball tournament was crazy, so we all go together to talk about Day Three.

No. 9: After Les Koenning left for Texas, all we could say was #Favre4OC.

No. 8: Mississippi State took on Alabama, and all of college football should have cheered for the Bulldogs.

No. 7: The first poll released after MSU lost to Alabama.

No. 6: ESPN announced that College GameDay was headed to Starkville.

So there you have it.  We are down to the top-five. Tomorrow, we look at a few posts you may have missed, and the top-five posts will hit on New Years Eve.
