Wednesday at 7 pm the ninth ranked Hail State Hoops team will be taking on the Number 6 team in the country Texas in Austin. This game is arguably the biggest game in MSU History. Regardless of the result if MSU is competitive with this top ten opponent that just went on the road and handled Tennessee pretty easily then I think we have a great year. If we win this game we make a huge statement to the national media and have a chance to make the top 5. I will be watching on the Longhorn Network but if you do not get the Longhorn Network like 99% of us then the SEC Network is showing MSU Mens Basketball against Texas Southern at 7 and as we all get this channel I am sure they will have highlights and look ins as we get to cheer for both our Bulldog teams! If we win on Wednesday then this team deserves to have a full Hump when Kentucky South Carolina and Tennessee come to town. Those are our ranked home opponents and we need every advantage we can get to win the SEC. The only ranked SEC opponent on the road we have to play is Texas A&M. So we get 3 out of 4 ranked teams at home and we do not have to play these ranked teams twice. Of any sports program this year, this one has the best chance to win the SEC and if we win or have a close loss on Wednesday then you know our shot to Host the NCAA Tournament Round of 64 and 32 is huge and those games ought to be sold out for sure if we make it to that point!
Here is our mens game preview if by chance you are unable to watch the Womens game.
